MEET THE OWNER
Meet Brooke Snider
Owner of Paws in Bloom Pet Care, formerly All Creatures Pet Care
I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. When I was young, I saved every penny I earned, not to buy toys, but to purchase pet supplies for my "animal emergency kit" that I kept stashed away in my closet. Stray cats and dogs always managed to "find" me, much to my parents' dismay! In addition to trying to bring home every critter I encountered, I played with goats and hound dogs on a family farm, rode and showed horses, and volunteered at the local animal shelters.
When young, I was inspired by books written by James Herriot, particularly All Creatures Great and Small. These stories influenced my childhood, and later, the name of my business.
BEYOND PET CARE
Life with my own zoo
Often found dancing, I am an avid festival-goer, and all-around music fanatic. Beyond my professional life, I am a generational cycle-breaking mother of two wonderful boys and the proud caretaker of a lively menagerie which includes Tulsi, my Corgi; eight charismatic cats: Monty, Smokey, Minnie, Squeaky, Tango, Griz, Clozee and Lucky. The cat distribution system has been very… generous to me. It’s a zoo, but it’s my zoo! Forever in my heart is Sita, my Siberian Husky and heart dog (October 13, 2012 – July 5, 2026). 💜
With a profound green thumb, I love spending time in my garden and have a budding interest in foraging as well as herbalism. Nature is, and always will be, my happy place, and I cherish every opportunity to camp, hike, and explore, often with my camera in tow.
Aside from nature and animals, I have a deep interest in psychology and neuroscience, and I am committed to mental health advocacy. I am currently working toward becoming a complex trauma peer support specialist. The system helps a lot of people, but some get lost in it or sit just out of its reach. Those are the people I want to help. My ultimate goal is to build community, where people come together and look out for one another.

WHY PAWS IN BLOOM
A fresh start, in full bloom
All Creatures Pet Care was named after the James Herriot stories that shaped my childhood, and I will always be grateful for everything that name carried.
The past few years brought some of the hardest seasons of my life. Walking through them taught me a great deal about resilience, healing and the courage it takes to begin again. Paws in Bloom is that new beginning. Like a garden after a long winter, it’s about growing through what life hands you and coming back stronger, gentler and more rooted in what matters most.
The heart of the business hasn’t changed: the same owner, the same standard of care and the same love for every creature, great and small. The new name simply reflects who I’ve become, and the kind of care I want to keep growing.
MY VISION
Care like no other around
My vision for Paws in Bloom Pet Care is to provide premium pet services like no others around, and I aim to do that not only by offering better accountability through GPS tracking, photo check-ins, and a user friendly phone app, but also by thoroughly vetting and training staff and valuing client feedback and suggestions. Our goal at Paws in Bloom is and always will be to care for your pets like they are a part of our own family, and to provide no less than the best quality pet care.
“The Paws in Bloom pack is a safe haven for all. We offer just as much kindness and compassion to our clients as we do their pets, ensuring a welcoming and nurturing environment for everyone—human and furry alike.”
THE HOMESTEAD
Earth Mama Homestead
I once ran a small homestead called Earth Mama Homestead, home to goats, chickens, rabbits, and a garden overflowing with flowers, sunflowers, and pumpkins. Some of my happiest days were spent out there, usually with a goat trying to steal a kiss.
The homestead is on pause for now, but I hope to get back to it one day. Pet sitting is my business. The homestead is where my bigger dream lives.
When I return to it, I want what it grows to go to women’s shelters. The goal is to bring farm-fresh food to women who need it, and not just food: goat milk products too, like handmade soap and lotion. Small comforts matter, especially when you are starting over.
